My sister keeps telling me that Vitamin C serim is a must for aging skin. She even purchased me the brand that she uses to get me started. It did very little for my skin, plus the smell was not pleasant. I have read that Vitamin C serims can have an odd smell. That is why I love this product. It has little to no smell, what is there is light and a bit citricy. It absorbs into you skin without any being sticky and feels great, so putting it under makeup is not a problem. But, most importantly, it works really well. I have been out in the sun a bit and even with sunscreen, I get hyperpigmentation. This products evens my skin tone out within days without drying. I should maybe add that my skin is still a bit oily, even at 60+. I would say try it, and if you find it drying your skin out, cut back on the amount of days that you use it. It will still do the job of evening your skin tone. Also, the overall value for the money is great.

Smells nice like fruity pebbles cereal but not too strong, adds a nice light layer of moisture before cream and absorbs nicely. I have dry to normal skin and didn't notice much of a difference but maybe that's cuz my skin isn't that bad to begin with. Still, it didn't irritate me, has good ingredients and at the lower price point for a vitamin c serum I think it's worth trying.

Currently buying my second bottle. I have found that this product has faded out some of my brown spots(60+ year old) and overall brightened up my skin. I'm very pleased with it. I read some of the negative reviews wondering why some are not happy...if you have sensitive skin I would start slow. Every other day or every third day. I use tretinion at night and this in the morning. Wasnt an issue for my skin buteveryone is different. It does have a citrusy smell but its light and not unpleasant IMO, not sticky, andworks fine under makeup (doesn't cause peeling). I do put a moisturizer on top of the Vitamin C serum and then sunblock on top of that (then makeup). It is also quite affordable! Definitely worth giving a try if you are looking for a Vitamin C serum.

I’ve been using this for a year and like it, but it went from $13 to $23. It’s a nice product, but at that price point I may see what else is out there. It absorbs quickly and is hydrating, but I haven’t seen any changes to dark spots. I use it under a thicker face lotion.
