Great book for anyone with a young sports person to cater for.
This is a really concise book with lots of useful information for my 15 year old son who plays hockey. It helped us plan his eating to give him maximum energy for his games. Useful tips and great recipes. I also have the adult book by this author, which is really good and interesting for anyone who does sport/exercise and is interested in their nutrition.

The science of sports diet.
This is a great title for any person who knows a young athlete. The information is presented in a way that is suitable for an adolescent sportsperson. It has ended a number of disagreements about what they should be eating!I have given it 4 stars because it is a relatively short book for the price I feel.

An excellent well written book
An excellent well written book. A must for any parent / coach with young athletes. I bough this as I have 3 competitive swimmers in my house, all of differing levels. It has really helped me to understand their dietary needs both for training and competition.

Very good book with lots of advice and the recipes were simple. Trying to help my grandson who has eating issues.

Easy to read and well laid out
Up to date information in easy to read format. As a teacher am able to make the subject more relevant for pupils with the help of this book

ok nutrition guide
No great but good enough for someone taking up a sport seriously.The basics are covered and there's enough guidance.
