With Roomba, you can clean up even when you aren't home. This
vacuuming robot efficiently picks up dirt, debris, pet hair,
dust, ens and more from carpets and hard floors. It does
the vacuuming for you. Roomba removes dirt, dust, and much more
while automatically adjusting to clean carpets, hardwood, tile,
and linoleum floors as it moves through your home. Roomba 620 has
superior hair handling ability; the robot's AeroVac Technology
maximizes air flow, pulling debris off the brushes and into the
back of the bin. The AeroVac three-stage system ensures clean
floors from wall edge to wall edge. Dirt Detect technology uses
an acoustic sensor to identify dirtier areas, so the Roomba
spends more time cleaning them.
Featuring iAdapt Responsive Cleaning Technology, Roomba monitors
the cleaning environment over 60 times per second, using multiple
sensors and over 40 behaviours to maximise cleaning performance.
It thoroughly cleans your carpets, hardwood, tile and linoleum
floors, including in tight spots, under and around furniture and
along edges. The 600 Series delivers greater ease of use with
superior hair handling ability – innovatively compositioned
longer-lasting brushes handle fibres more effectively than ever,
whilst AeroVac Technology maximises air flow through the cleaning
head to pull debris off the brushes and into the newly designed
larger bin. And along with its simple and intuitive interface,
Roomba 620 returns to its Home Base to dock and recharge between
cleanings. All you have to do is press “Clean” and let Roomba do
the dirty work.
The Roomba 600 series, which includes model 620 offers a number
of improvements over the 500 series. On the hardware front the
600 models has "AeroVac Technology" for an improved vacuuming
system, an improved cleaning head module with better brush design
and airflow, and a pop of colour on the top.
The 600 series looks a bit nicer than the 500s, is a slightly
more efficient cleaner, and its bin has to be emptied less often,
but most of the key features are unchanged. The 600 series is
still designed for up to 110 square metres, works with the
optional virtual walls.
3 stage cleaning uses the spinning side brush (1),
counter-rotating brushes (2), and AeroVac Series 2 vacuum (3) to
thoroughly clean your floors

A Proud Heritage
----------------
For over 20 years, iRobot has been developing leading-edge
technologies to fulfil its simple mission statement: to create
robots that make a difference to people’s lives. So far, our
robots have made a difference in the world’s combat zones and at
natural disasters, they have explored the oceans and have been
designed for space travel… and are in millions of homes around
the world.
iRobot is a robotics company, not an electronics one; we only
make robots. So you can be sure our robots are ‘fit for purpose’.
And Roomba’s purpose is to clean floors.
Roomba can be scheduled to perform up to seven cleaning sessions
per week

Roomba: Born to Make a Difference
---------------------------------
There are now many vacuum-cleaning robots on the market. However,
Roomba remains a unique product from a unique company.
Because, whilst other products are the result of an appliance
manufacturer deciding to build a robot, Roomba is the creation of
a robotics company, who decided to make people’s lives better.
Roomba: From Dream to Real Life
-------------------------------
Roomba was created to live in our world: a world with furniture
and pets, children and dirt, different floor coverings and
precious possessions and homes with more than one room lived in
by real people with busy lives.
We created Roomba to live in the real world.
Coverage: Roomba covers as much of the floor as possible –
multiple times
Crisis Management: Roomba can deal effectively with unexpected
changes and problems
Cleaning Performance: It’s equipped to clean effectively on all
different floor surfaces
Cost Effective: Clever design and smarter technology delivers a
great product at an affordable price
Reliability: Roomba is continuously tested and refined to ensure
reliability
Power Management: Advanced software ensures that Roomba’s tasks
are completed as efficiently as possible
Control: Virtual Wall barriers mean Roomba can be kept out of
areas it shouldn’t go
Safety: Touch sensitive bumpers and infrared sensors ensure
Roomba doesn’t damage valuables – or itself – around the home
Mobility: Roomba is designed so that it doesn’t get stranded or
tangled as it cleans the home
Roomba is less than 10cm 'tall', so it can clean under a lot
more furniture

The Power to Adapt
------------------
One of Roomba’s most crucial advantages is its unique navigation
system, iAdapt Responsive Cleaning Technology. This advanced
system of sensors and software lets Roomba adapt to its
environment, making more than 60 decisions every second and
employing the most relevant of dozens of cleaning behaviours.
So, unlike its competitors, who clean rigidly in straight lines
and can become confused by obstacles, Roomba will cope perfectly
in your home. It tackles every room on its own merits, adapting
its path to clean more of the floor more thoroughly, including
along edges and under, around and behind furniture.
Roomba’s iAdapt is driven by a series of infrared sensors, which
constantly monitor its surroundings and report to a complex
processor where advanced software interprets the information and
allows it to react accordingly.
Every model is equipped with 'Cliff Detect' technology

Cleaning the Real World
-----------------------
Roomba has a patented 3-stage cleaning system – involving its
spinning side brush, effective pick-up and efficient use of power
– which is designed to do the best possible job while making the
most of every milliamp its battery supplies.
