It was so bad that when you put the string on it
Being an American Indian I have more than a few bows. After having a massive heart attack and then heart surgery, my children thought they would purchase this bow to cheer me up. I opened the package and put the bow together then discovered that the bottom half had a twist in it. It was so bad that when you put the string on it, it fly's around to the back side. I tried contacting the company but there is no phone number or address to reach these people. Maybe this is just a fluke but any company that has no way to reach them is not worth a hill of beans in my book. I would recomend that you look at another business to purchase your bow. Thank you for reading this and I hope it helps.

I got an amazing deal on this one with a $10 discount promo ...
I got an amazing deal on this one with a $10 discount promo which is the reason I purchased it. I'm really enjoying this bow and it works very well. For those who are complaining about no manual, it's in the gallery of this listing. Those who are familiar with takedown recurves shouldn't need the manual and already know how to set one up.# Pros- Take down works great.- Great price for a very well made bow.- Standard tapped locations for sights, arrow rest, and front stabilizer. Some folks mentioned "no area to install a sight", either they changed the design and have added them since or those customers have no idea that it's there already.- Metal riser is well made and has rubber grips.- Limbs are built well and mine came all black without the logo.# Cons- None.# Would like to see- Include the print out manual from the listing gallery so customers don't complain about not getting a manual. This really isn't an issue for me since I already knew what to expect however it's a con for TopArchery since customers are going to troll and write negative reviews.- Include a bow stringer. Again, not an issue for me since I already have one.# Notes- I got the 50# and it's awesome. I think I like the 50# recurve better than my 55# compound. It's a toss up. Always take 2 bows on a hunting trip. The recurve is easy to restring so if by chance something like a broad head slices the string, it can easily be restrung. Great additional bow just in case the compound fails.- I might get the 40# since I really like this bow.- The 1x thick plastic washer that people have mentioned seems to not be used for this setup. Not sure why it's included. Based on the manual (gallery photo) it's not displayed in step 1.- I've attached photos of my setup.

Just received bow AND....
So I purchased this bow earlier this week and just received it. Packaging was alright nothing special. Upon opening the box I realized that this bow DOES NOT come with a string, bow stringer, arrow rest or any tools to tighten the bolts on the limbs. This appears to be just the bow itself. I can't give a full in depth review as I am not able to set it up and shoot it at this time. The grip is rubber. One thing I will say off the bat that I do like is that you CAN attach your own arrow rest. I was trying to see from the pictures if you were able to or not and I'm happy to see that I can. Also it looks like you are able to attach a stabilizer if you like. I do not see a place to attach any kind of sights. For the price you are paying I guess you can't really complain too much. I just wish they would include EVERYTHING you need to set this up as I will have to make separate purchases now.

This is the diamond in the ruff
This is the diamond in the ruff! I'm an experienced archer of twenty years and I've shot a lot of bows. I was looking for a "survival bow" when I came across this one. It seemed to be built for the task unlike those folding bows. Good size at 56" long and it was a take down recurve, so I took the chance. At 89.00 why not! I'm nothing but amazed how this bow preform s it's fast, sturdy, and accurate! I shoot right off the riser, I don't use the elevated rest I don't like them. Buy this bow you won't be disappointed!

Awsome bow!!!
Great bow!!! Buy a different arrow rest if you want one, the plastic one made a nice screeching sound when I went to draw my arrows back, perfect for giving your game a head start lol. Could have been the brand of arrows too. After I modified it with a little heat on the top it broke. That's just the arrow rest, and should have nothing to do with your buying decision, I just wanted to mention it. YES it is a really good bow for $100 I'm happy with it. Also I would NOT buy the arrows that amazon recommends with this bow ( black and white Tiger 12pk) I'm not saying that they are not good arrows because they are great arrows but they are a little flimsy and long for the 50lb recurve and cannot shoot off of the riser with those arrows because of the rubber fletching, you need a good arrow rest for these arrows and maybe cut off a couple inchs to stiffen the spine. So yea those arrows are not in tune with this bow, a broadhead will go all over the place. Once I get some different arrows with feather fletching I will be good to go! Thank you

Great bow for the money!
I got the 50lb version of this bow for $88 (there was coupon) and I couldn't be happier. This may be an inexpensive bow from a manufacturer I had never heard of, but I feel like this is a good product, especially for the money. I've made very few modifications to the bow: string silencers are a must to dampen the noise a bit and since I shoot off the shelf, I added a strip of bear hair. I have not used the included arrow rest at all. Other than string nocks, the bow shoots very consistently stock.Packaging was nicely done, it DOES come with a string and was simple to assemble. Make sure you give the string a few good twists to raise the brace height a little bit for a little better performance. I also appreciate the extra threaded holes in the riser for sight pins or other accessories that you may wish to use if you have/need them. My old Bear Grizzly doesn't have anything like that ;)All in all, this is a great purchase for the money if you are looking for a decent takedown recurve bow.

2 Months old and limbs are warped and string snapped
10 week review .....Good points1). It’s really cheap.Er..that’s it.Bad points1). I got the 30lb bow - mine is really, really, really easy to pull back about 25” but the last 10” (to my jaw) are really hard.2). The limbs do not slip onto the bolts, the bolts have to be removed each time to fit. This is a MASSIVE pain if you don’t have somewhere flat to do it - I have already lost 2 of my washers and 1 bolt into long grass.3). The bow when made is tiny (really powerful) but tiny, first time I used it everyone laughed at my ‘toy’ bow.4). The riser is really tiny - half the size of a usual riser, check your sizes before you buy!5). I had to buy aluminium arrows as I was told cheap carbon fibre arrows may shatter when used with this bow.6). Bag was falling to bits within 2 weeks of using it.7). Arrow rest doesn’t fit very well and is poorly made.8). Bow string became frayed after a couple of weeks and is almost useless after limited use.9). It’s now 2 months old and the lower limb has warped - cheap garbage - avoid!!!10). I shoot about 200 arrows a month so about 500 arrows have been shot since I got it and today the string snapped!I have been using bow wax to care for the string - but it snapped on the top loop.I got a nasty whip when it broke - luckily I was wearing sun glasses! This bow is cheap for a reason - AVOID

Awesome!
Wow!! I’ve been into archery for many years and make arrows, and this is the most incredible value for money. It is so well made and shoots beautifully. I think it may be my favourite bow now, and it was at least a 5th of the price!! Awesome

Very nice for the price
Very nice for the price, and shoots very well. The bow has reasonably good quality parts and good workmanship, although it could have been better. From the pictures, I was expecting it to come with a stringing aid, but it did not. A rudimentary bag to keep the disassembled bow (that can double as a quiver maybe) was included though. The riser is identical with the one from Mandarin Duck Phantom, but in this case the limbs have a padding that partly dampens the vibrations and make this bow less noisy.

Strong build will last for ever if you look after it
When playing archey on my Wii sport resort I used to get really into it and my dream has come true of having the experience to channel my focus into that one point on a target and have the confidence to know that when I release that arrow it'll hit the target I meditated and homed in on like the tradition Japanese longbows but my own way
