PUMPKIN 10.1" Car Headrest DVD Player (10.1)

The external wifi antenna is a must on any of these units. The included GPS antenna works great. Overall, this has everything I needed for a normal definition peripheral system in the limo with the HD touch screen display. I have 3 displays being run from one of the AV outputs using an AV distribution amp, the Pumpkin has two AV output sets. One of the displays is a 32" TV, one is a 17" TV and the other one is a 6" camera monitor up front that lets the driver switch between cameras and what's playing on the system. I am using an Android compatible remote+keyboard with it. Boot time is very quick and I've seen no playback sluggishness in the video out or the touch display. Great purchase for sure. I've looked everywhere for a similar 2GB RAM unit with 4K HDMI output and have been unable to find a system with that and 2 AV outputs for under $300. Most are 8-core and cost $400 or more. This fit the build and the budget. Go for it.

Good so far. Instructions were virtually nonexistent so make sure you're familiar with stereo installation if you do it yourself. I personally needed my friend to do the wiring for me. The unit was slightly bigger than the bezel for my car so I needed to cut the edges about a couple millimeters down with a rotary tool.The UI is not customizable so you'll have to download a launcher. Steering wheel controls don't work but that may be user error so I'll be trying to wire that again. Navigation, wifi, Bluetooth and gps work well/smoothly so far. Would be perfect if not for the steering wheel controls.

If you need a all in one radio this is for you, best price installs fast and just works, but it likes change mile to kilometers and not go back. reports your speed right but just in kilometers and not miles ( I think this is a software problem) not the radios .

Having Android installed on the unit is awesome. Connects with my ELM 327 without any issues. Would recommend.
