These repeller refills work great! The smell is not off-putting at all, which was something I was worried about at first. The scent is mild and totally tolerable, making it easy to use regularly. Before using them, my kids used to get bitten alive every time we went outside, and it made outdoor time stressful. Now they can play outside comfortably without constantly swatting bugs or coming inside covered in bites. It’s made such a huge difference for our family and completely changed our backyard experience. Highly recommend!

I'm allergic to mosquitos and attract them. Everyone is but I get very large welts from 1 to 3 inches in diameter. We live next to wetland. The bats can't keep up. This Thermacell and refills is the BEST solution to prevent bites. Better than DEET because I'm not drowing in poison. Better than citronella in a candle or an outdoor tiki torch. Better than a fire pit (no smoke inhalation). Better than a bug zapper or a mosquito magnet, both of which attract mosquitos to kill them. All of those things WORK, but THIS Thermacell and cheap refills have SAVED my backyard life. I wish I could pack one on my belt for hiking around.
