Chasseur French Double Enameled Rectangular Cast Iron Grill Pan, Red

I liked the shape of this pan when I saw it, so gave it a go. When it arrived, there was some chips on the enamel. And the cooking surface was much smaller than I thought. Turns out, the dimensions in the product description included the handle. So rather than being a 12.5" x 14" cooking surface, it's much less than that. Still not tiny, but not what I expected. I returned this item since it was damaged and so cannot comment on performance. It certainly felt substantial and the colored coating looked just like other similar brands. It's interesting to note that Chasseur offers a 10 year warranty, while others are lifetime. Pay a little less, get a little less, I guess. One other note is that this item shipped in it's original retail packaging. A fairly sturdy box, but since this was going to be a gift I wasn't pleased with that since it arrived severely scuffed and market. Real nice.
